Life According to Literature

I love this idea, so I’m stealing it from Rory who borrowed it from somewhere else:

The Rules:  Using only books you have read in 2013, answer the questions without repeating a book title.

Describe yourself: The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton

How do you feel: Z by Therese Anne Fowler (meaning tired from all this snow and cold, and just want to drink like Zelda)

Describe where you currently live: The House of Special Purpose by John Boyne (but without the death)

If you could go anywhere, where would you go: Nowhere but Home by Liza Palmer (out of this atrocious weather)

Your favorite form of transportation: The Shadowy Horses by Susanna Kearsley

Your best friend is: The Butterfly Sister by Amy Gail Hansen (seriously, because she has a butterfly tattoo and was my sorority sister)

You and your friends are: The Interestings by Meg Wolitzer

What the weather’s like: The Vast Unknown by Broughton Coburn

You fear: An Unmarked Grave by Charles Todd (being buried alive is my ultimate terror, like that scene in Kill Bill II)

What is the best advice you have to give: Roses Have Thorns by Sandra Byrd

Thought for the day: Let Me Go by Chelsea Cain

How I would like to die: Her Last Breath by Linda Castillo

My soul’s present condition: Waiting to be Heard by Amanda Knox

  1. This is brilliant! Very different way to look back on what you’ve read.

  2. I chose The Interestings for the friend one too- just too easy!
